The Mission of the Bitterroot Building Industry Association shall be to unify and enhance the building industry in the Bitterroot Valley through education, community involvement, and quality construction practices. Core values provide guidelines to achieve this.

Attainable Home Ownership
We believe home ownership can and should be within the reach of every family. We are committed to providing opportunities for Montanans of all walks of life to be able to live and raise their families in safe, clean neighborhoods. Being able to choose where we live is part of the Montana / American dream.
Sustainable Economics
We support free enterprise and private property rights/responsibilities. We promote cooperation within the membership and within our communities and we understand that a healthy local economy includes a mix of economic activity.
Political Activism
We support and promote legislative activity that enhances the strategic goals and objectives of our organization and that provide opportunities for all residents of Ravalli County. We will work together to build common ground and shared values.
Stewardship
We support policies and practices that preserve open space and create minimal impacts on the environment. We promote wise use of space including provisions for wildlife habitat. We believe in livable communities, smart growth, and appropriate covenants to ensure quality of life.
Education
We will promote intelligent growth through thoughtful understanding of the facts. Change is here to stay. How do we best manage growth in the Valley, while enhancing quality of life, contributing to sustainable local economies, and providing needed infrastructure.
